Disney Dreamlight Valley continues to expand its beloved roster of villagers by introducing iconic characters from classic animated films. Adding Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas brings a charmingly spooky atmosphere and new story opportunities to your village. Unlocking her requires completing a series of prerequisite quests and gathering special materials across the valley.
Prerequisites for Inviting Sally
Before you can begin Sally's dedicated questline, you must fulfill several storyline requirements. Players need to have Jack Skellington unlocked as a resident in their valley and reach a high friendship level with him. Additionally, progress in Merlin's main questline, specifically completing Odds and Ends, is necessary to trigger the new events.
You must also ensure that Mirabel is unlocked and that her initial friendship quest is fully completed. Having key characters like Scar, Elsa, Moana, and Mickey leveled up will ensure smooth progress through these preparatory steps. Once all conditions are met, a special letter in your mailbox will hint at the next steps.
Starting The Woven Bridge Quest
To initiate the unlocking process, head inside Kristoff and Anna's home to automatically start the quest titled The Woven Bridge. Inside the house, you will discover strange spiderwebs scattered around that need to be cleared away. After inspecting these webs, speak with Jack Skellington to report your findings.
Jack will ask you to investigate other villager homes to gather more spiderwebs for his investigation. You will need to visit Mirabel, Vanellope, and Remy's houses to clean up additional webs. Bringing these back to Jack reveals a mysterious message sent by Sally from another dimension.
Crafting the Rejuvenation Potion
To help the exhausted spiders open a portal, Jack tasks you with creating a special potion. You will need to gather various ingredients from around the valley, including Red Bell Flowers, Night Shards, Mushrooms, and Cotton. You must also craft an Empty Vial at a crafting bench using glass and cook a fresh Blueberry Pie.
Once all ingredients are collected, craft the Arachnid Rejuvenation Potion at any crafting station. Deliver the potion to Jack so he can apply it to the cauldron inside his house. This crucial step restores the energy needed to establish a stable connection for Sally's arrival.
Welcoming Sally to Your Village
After placing the potion into the cauldron, a portal opens allowing Sally to step into Disney Dreamlight Valley. You can welcome her formally, enjoy her initial reunion with Jack, and begin building your friendship with her right away. Unlocking Sally grants access to new daily interactions, cozy furniture rewards, and engaging follow-up quests.
